​Partnerships for Digital Education Readiness 

The basis for this project is the lasting impact that coronavirus will leave on the way we work and live together. The pandemic has forced many of us to stay at homes, modify their both private and professional plans. The danger of being contaminated has also affected the way of teaching and switched it to online and blended learning/teaching. This situation resulted in a sudden and unexpected need for using specific, digital tools. What is more, a lot of foreign mobilities have been stopped due to hazardous conditions.

 

The aim of this project is to support digital education readiness projects in school education. This project will aim to enhance online, distance and blended learning - including supporting teachers and trainers, as well as safeguarding the inclusive nature of digital learning opportunities.

 

In order to fulfil the objectives, a partnership has been created consisting of 4 schools and 2 organisations providing education.

Main Objectives: 

  • Equip education and training systems to face the challenges presented by online and distance learning, helping teachers to develop digital skills and preserving the inclusive nature of learning opportunities;

  • Strengthen the capacity of education and training institutions to provide high quality and inclusive digital education;

  • Build capacity to implement online, blended and distance teaching and learning;

  • Develop the digital pedagogical skills of educators, enabling them to deliver high quality inclusive digital education;

  • Develop and / or use high quality digital content such as innovative online resources and tools;

  • Foster the networking of institutions across the EU, the sharing of resources and expertise, and the collaboration with digital technology,

  • Get to know and bring into force the latest technological appliances to allow students to find themselves in the technologically-oriented world after a pandemic.
